Secretaría de Salud aplicará este lunes vacunas contra la influenza en módulos drive thru en el recinto

Monterrey.- Como lo había adelantado anteriormente, este lunes la Secretaría de Salud de Nuevo León implementará la vacunación contra la influenza en modalidad drive thru en la Arena Monterrey.

Según señaló Manuel de la O, titular de la dependencia en el estado, este operativo funcionará como preparación para implementarlo una vez se reciban vacunas contra covid para toda la población.

El funcionario invitó a la ciudadanía a aplicarse la vacuna, ya que debe pasar por lo menos un mes para poder ´ponerse´ la dosis anticovid.

«Vamos a iniciar el día de mañana con unos módulos de vacunación drive thru contra la influenza, lo vamos a hacer ahí en la Arena Monterrey, vamos a ir calibrando estos operativos, estos drive thru, para cuando tengamos la vacuna contra covid hacerlo rapidísimo.

«Nos van a servir de práctica, de ensayo y recuerden, tiene que pasar en mes de haberte aplicado la vacuna de influencia para que pongas la vacuna contra covid, no se pueden poner al mismo tiempo», dijo.

De la O recalcó que no podrán ponerse la vacuna contra el virus si están recién vacunados contra influenza

«Queremos aplicar la vacunación a toda la población, lo vamos a hacer ahí en la Arena Monterrey y vamos a ir calibrando esta estrategia, vamos a irlo perfeccionando, todo es perfectible, todo los vamos a ir enriqueciendo con acciones», dijo.

Este domingo se informó que en las últimas 24 horas se registraron 998 casos confirmados de covid, teniendo de nueva cuenta un incremento, para ser la segunda cifra más alta desde el inicio de la pandemia.

Se indicó que hay 37 nuevos fallecimientos, lo que deja las cifras actualizadas en 137 mil 599 casos confirmados y 7 mil 126 fallecimientos desde el inicio de la pandemia.
